Sometimes You Have to Laugh

A student leaned his chair too far back and fell. I rushed over to check on him and heard profanity that must have turned my face red because the student told me, “I’m so sorry, Ms. McLay; it just fell right out of my mouth!”

Preparing to write papers on controversial topics, students were having a lively discussion on pros and cons of legal abortions. A male student remarked, “I know firsthand what I’m talking about.”
A female gasped, then asked, “You mean you used to be a woman?”

Transportation is an extremely important and abundant traveling source in today’s world, especially in the United States. Whether it’s public transportation with planes, buses, or trains, or privately owned vehicles or bicycles, millions of people use this traveling source to get from one place to the next.

Florida has the highest percentage of deaths among people aged sixty-five years or older, so there are more elderly drivers in Florida than any other state.

For obvious biological reasons, women cannot be men.

We have the right to bare arms.

Did our four fathers construct this dream for American citizens only?

Animals should not be mistreated and eaten for commercial use.

I was raised by my grandparents because my mother was a drug attic.

Our lives are so precious to us today, that death plays a major role when it happens.
