Having a Winning Attitude

To be successful in anything, you need to have a positive attitude. So, why not start off this new academic year with a "winning" attitude. You have to eliminate negative thinking. Here are five steps for preparing for success:

1. Prepare the evening before - organize your personal items for the next day and write a to-do list.

2. Eat properly, get enough rest and exercise.

3. Get up early (sometimes), and think about positive outcomes.

4. Talk to yourself using positive "I" statements: "I have a good plan today"; "I will perform well today because I am prepared".

5. Seek spiritual wellness.

You may feel that you are tired of attitude. After all, your parents, teachers, and friends have all talked about it, BUT it is important! Don't underestimate the power of a "winning" attitude. It can bring major changes in your life.
